Limn's Toro series incorporates his original photographs (generally portraits of his friends, images of his oil and encaustic paintings in his Santa Fe studio, and reflections of New Mexico light on desert objects) which are manipulated via custom coded process filters and then animated into smooth, hypnotic, meditative 4k infinite video loops.

Limn, a.k.a. Shane Robinson, is a traditionally trained artist (B.F.A. 1991, Ceramics and Sculpture) currently working in acrylic, oil, and encaustic medium-to-large scale paintings from his Santa Fe, New Mexico studio. His work is in private and corporate collections across the U.S., Canada, and Australia.

He has also been creating digital artworks since 2010 starting with the iPhone 4. He was prominent in the early days of iPhone art and involved in many National exhibitions, conference panels, and was the first digital artist in COLOR magazine in 2010.
