"What Americans left behind" series speaks about the situation of Cuba after all US companies were stolen by Castro's gang and the country was slowly destroyed. These are the remaining objects found on granma's kitchen and they were rebuilt in 2001 in an early 3D Studio Max as new-old products of the Cuban culture. Composing with old granma's objects was more rewarding than thinking how to find food. This piece, together with others, received a "special mention" at Centro Pablo de la Torriente on their early pioneering digital arts award in 2001.
