It is being drawn using a liquid that contains bacterial species. Within a night in an incubator, the species begin to grow and they form colonies, which are visible to the human eye. The different colors represent different species that are pathogenetic – they are dangerous to humans. In time the species exhibit signs of competitive behavior. Some of the species release toxins in order to kill one another, others choose symbiosis and co-exist in harmony, others create distance between the colonies of the other species. The photos highlight the places where one can observe the intensity of these processes.
