Purple Hour #4 Washington DC (2018)
This image took me about 4 different visits to "The View of DC" in Arlington, VA. I photographed it through two glass panes. The rainbows in the image were created by the Kennedy Center's Honors lights that happen once a year. When the first few visits didn't align with a proper capture, I was so determined to finally get it.
A reminder to slow down and take a breath. No matter how familiar you are with the place you call home, there are moments that give you more energy and relieve the everyday stresses. With a camera in hand, Purple Hour always leaves me in awe.
