Trying to find a scene in the woods is something I really struggle with, but when I saw this tree it really stood out to me. I spent some time really trying to capture this tree so I could do it justice. I really learned during this process that I need to slow down, study my surroundings and take my time to connect with whatever it is I'm trying to shoot. This image always reminds me to slow down and take my time.
