Endless Processing 6 (7/5/2021, R Code). This piece is part of twenty selected generative artworks released as unique iterations (numbered 1-10), in a limited collection by Kenny Vaden: “A Human in Times of Chaos.” The output from this code reminded me of staring at clouds, endlessly evoking pictures in your imagination. First, 600 random coordinates were used to create non-overlapping square polygons of varying sizes. The entire set of polygons then underwent 25 cycles of transformation and expansion. Transformation consisted of moving coordinates toward neighboring squares and accelerating within a particular vicinity (larger radius area for the biggest shapes). Expansion consisted of moving each tile's coordinates further apart by ~10%. After each cycle, the tiles were drawn with translucent colors from a jittered gradient that also represented their plotting order. All of the line widths varied randomly. This process turned many squares into triangles with long arms outstretched, as well as smudge-like and retraced lines. The image dimensions for this file are 16x20 inches and 300 DPI, which produced a file size below the 40 MB limit but provides a higher resolution (more detail) than the original version shown online.

Twenty generative artworks selected by Kenny Vaden to be released in ten unique iterations of each work. New pieces will drop daily, once all ten iterations of the preceding piece are purchased.
