This is a photo I took while out enjoying the time I still had good use of both legs. As of date this is minted, I cannot walk without a cane. This photo is an oddity for me. It brings me equal parts joy and wonder, trying to recapture the feeling I held when I captured this moment in my existence, but also darkness at the edges of my mind, hoping to consume me in madness. I hope you find the beauty in this sharing of myself with you.
A little backstory: I used to be a trucker, I am not a trucker anymore due to a life changing injury, but my time in the cab gave me a few beautiful memories. Here I am sharing them with you. My on the road photos are unique, I took them while driving a semi truck with a 52 foot fuel tank being towed behind me. Some times full, sometimes empty, but always with me.
LSD.... Last Summer Day... this was the last summer day... the last day really... that I was mobile in a way that I am not now. This was 2019... I basically became disabled in 2020. I hope some of the things I saw and photographed that day resonate with you.
There are a couple out of place NFTs from my first attempts at making and minting them on Opensea. Hehe. But it is what it is.
