This photo was taken exactly 23 years ago. At that time, I would give medication supplements to villages in the immense snowy mountains with my colleague Grayson. We had an unfortunate incident the day that this photo was taken. Even though we had the car maintenance every time before we set off, we couldn't get it done because we departed in a hurry that day. We arrived at the Cam lake using the usual roads. Every time we were going around the lake, but this time it would be a waste of time. We had to get there immediately. Although it was dangerous, passing over the lake would give us speed. We didn't have time to argue, I made the final decision and drove slowly over the lake. I kept going even though small cracking voices were coming from the ice sheet on the lake. 20-25 meters to the lakeshore, the car suddenly stopped. At first, we could not figure out what was going on. When we tried to restart the engine, we failed. We both started calling for help on the radio in haste. Despite making repeated calls, there was no response from the radio. We were just stuck in the middle of the ice. But on the one hand, there was a child we had to save. So we got out of the car and went on foot to the shore over the frozen lake. Meanwhile, we were constantly making radio calls for help, but the result was the same. We had to get there somehow, even if it was difficult. So we left the car there and continued the road on foot. After a hard journey, we managed to get to the village and save the child. And when we came back three days later, we couldn't find the car.
