Every ray of light coming from the sun is unique and priceless. Each take 500 seconds to reach the Earth. The suncatchers collection is inspired by the mesmerizing reflection of the sun over the Miño river, making the mica and the sand at its shore shine for a fraction of minutes, as the sun continues to move around the Earth. In this collection of artwork, I use the reflection of the sunlight at a specific time of the day on the mica fragments contained in my watercolour paints, to capture a brief and unique moment of the day and encapsulate it in my art forever.
