"GM Frens" is short for Good Morning Friends and is a greeting and a celebration of the NFT community. The title is a combination of common community greetings of good morning and friends. This piece is also a friendly critique of the many generative collections also used as profile pictures in the community. As more and more people come into the decentralized space these characters are welcoming new members to the neighborhood of collectibles. I use the symbolism of game pieces to illustrate the many roles played in life. I inject humor showing that we are not playing by the same rules as one another, and most of us are oblivious to this. Contrasting the games are the glowing and flying figures representing finding and living a life's purpose. They glow from within and navigate life more aware and less distracted by the surrounding games. 3840 × 2160
