Jakplanks are a series of individual 1/1 collectibles. These mythos art pieces are done on rescued wood (there's a couple of plates too). The wood is from abandoned houses, the coast, building sites, found in storage or anywhere else wooden planks might be. Using the folds and crevices within the wood, the images emerge to represent the story of the trees they once came from (or at least the artist likes to believe ;)). Each jakplank is a unique piece of art, ranging from the supernatural to the other-worldly, from landscapes to figures, the psychological to the purely imaginary (some even have snippets of Aedynjak poetry incorporated into them...)

Each piece is prepared by hand, thoroughly cleaned, sanded, removed of nails. I take my time to meditate on the wood until I draw my first sketch. The jakplank is then painted, treated and fixed. The pieces you see here have been photographed and edited into collectible NFTs.
