My Story:

A lot of women end up being diagnosed with ectopic pregnancies when it’s too late. They’ve already ruptured or they’re bleeding. I found out a pretty normal way at one of my doctor’s appointments. They explained what was happening and what the options were. Being Jewish, my faith necessitates that we terminate if the mother’s life is at risk. I counseled with my rabbi, but we all agreed on the best course of action. I was able to be seen the next day.
