SELFIE-ANNIHILATION is an ongoing collection begun in 2014 as a dismantling of Information Age self-portraiture: the genesis of the "avant-garde selfie."
Each digital photograph captures a spontaneous moment in which one's reflected visage becomes distorted, alienated, or decontextualized. On Instagram, they stand in mischievous defiance of the Zucc's surveilling tendrils. On Ethereum, they achieve their apotheosis: an ecstatic & eternal doxxing.
