Duet with Sun

This story is about the ship Edro III, which found its refuge off the coast of Cyprus. During a storm, the merchant ship ran aground, the crew managed to evacuate, and the cargo was also rescued. But it turned out to be unprofitable to remove the ship from the shallows. Because the insurance company paid all the damages. So the ship turned into a kind of attraction and has now become an integral part of the coastline. I came to this place for several days in a row and each time the bizarre stones, waves and sun created a different mood.

The main idea behind these shots is to use a slow shutter speed to freeze the movement of the water. The water becomes smooth, ripples and waves are blurred, and forms, textures and balance come to the fore. This allows you to emphasize the stability and immutability of the entire composition with the ship and stones. And emphasizes the general idea of eternity.

###About photographer: I'm travel and landscape photographer. Taking photos about 15 years. By education I am a mathematician-programmer and have worked for more than 10 years in one of the largest IT companу. In order to learn how to take pictures and process pictures, I woke up at 5 in the morning, did my hobby for several hours, and then went to work. And traveling on vacation and on weekends. I began to develop as a photographer, send pictures to photo contests, started a blog about travel and photography. And one day I got a call from the Fujifilm company and offered to become their ambassador. For more than 10 years I have been combining work as a programmer in the office, photography, travel, and my blog. And she decided to leave the office only 2 years ago. And since then I have never regretted it, although it was scary.
