Finding tranquility in chaos.

There was immense chaos during this three-day backcountry canoe trip to Spirit Island. You would never know all the challenges and complications faced by simply looking at this photograph. Unexpectedly, in this moment all I felt was tranquility. Tranquility within the still waters, the vast landscape, and within myself. All that chaos was worth it for this one moment. This moment where all the chaos stopped, and I watched the sun come up to wake up the world.
