The best opportunity to create sky art is during Arizona's monsoon. I managed to dodge multiple cells of wind and rain to finally get the perfectly timed moment to witness this magical scene take place over the town of Rio Rico, Arizona on July 29, 2019. After this minute, nearly all the fantastical light was lost, and the sky quickly turned to dark with its greys and blues. These are the moments I devote countless hours to, the lack of sleep, the time away from home.
