This photograph is part of my "The Streets of Harajuku" series. A micro-series that is part of a larger ongoing "The Streets of" series, which is a 5-10 year project that will encapsulate 100+ cities. Tokyo has long been seen as a mecca of unique fashion and widespread trends and within Tokyo, Harajuku stands alone as it's fashion capitol. This series not only captures a moment in time, but a moment in culture as well.

One of my favorite moments in Harajuku. I will never forget the moment we shared without words over a lighter.
