I've come to terms with the fact that I may never have a consistent look.

While many artists have spent years honing their look, their style, something that feels authentic to them, I've spent the last two decades developing my technique and expanding my tool kit. I pride myself on being able to make anything, in any style.

Most of my pieces look nothing like each other. Forcing myself to create connected pieces around the same theme or aesthetic actually feels inauthentic to me.

I come from a technical background, not an artistic one. Most of my work is created from the desire to try an unexplored technique, or effect, to challenge myself to do something new each and every time I open a blank canvas.

Honestly, sometimes I just want to make something cool.

"Black Gold" is one of those times.

Striking bold imagery and looping fluid dynamics, mixed with original audio also created by myself, makes for one hell of an engaging piece.
