El Arrecife de las Sirenas is the gem at the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. They say his name "Mermaids", could be due to the presence of 'monk seals' which sailors mistook sirens. It is located at the tip of the Cabo de Gata, near the lighthouse built in the 1860s. The Natural Park of Cabo de Gata is the first sea-land Park of Andalusia, Spain.
