I was interested in combining 3D objects with 2D card cutouts. The monochromatic, greyscale palette sets the mood for this boy, alone on an island, wondering what's in store for himself.

I think all artists feel this way at times. Lonely, isolated, unsupported, misunderstood. As an artist, I create for my own enjoyment, expansion of knowledge, and deeper understanding of the tools in front of me and the world at large.

I hope others can experience a moment of joy and serenity themselves.
