We often seek to create order out of chaos. But there are times in life in which chaos is inevitable and can’t be sorted. We can embrace this entropy and simply let things be, to gain chaotic clarity and exist within chaos.

The poem was written in 2012; literally the first poem I ever wrote, ever. It came during a time of great stress and chaos. The first two lines entered my mind, and wouldn’t quiet until I put them on paper. A few minutes later, a poem was created, spontaneously. Poetry has never left me since. The visual is an abstract representation, made during the same time period to accompany the poem and depict the concept of ‘chaotic clarity.’
