Story

I told you the sunsets here are great! They're like yin and yang with the factory. You can grumble about the Azovstal's chimneys and smoke all day, and then wait until sunset to say to yourself, "It's so beautiful here after all"

Shot with a Canon 30D camera handheld at a shutter speed of 1/15th of a second with the mirror lockup. I had just learned about this trick in a magazine and immediately rushed to the roof to try it in action. My favorite moment of dusk is caught here, when the sky is colored by the last light, people have already turned on the lights in their apartments, but it's still bright enough outside.

From this angle I showed part of downtown Mariupol long before the war, and now my task is to do the same after putin's troops have destroyed most of the buildings. If this point for shooting no longer exists, I will launch a drone here to take a similar shot when I have a chance.
