Living in between land and water, this Scottish wee tree symbolises for me resilience and the ability to weather the storms that life throws at us like no other.

I have been photographing this tree almost every year since 2018, finding it on land or immersed in the water, depending on the Loch’s level and on the weather. Like us, the tree is sometimes under a beautiful sky, sometimes must weather a storm; no matter the weather, it’s still there, weathering the storm.
