Over the last 8 years I have spent numerous weeks exploring almost the entire south coast of Western Australia... definitely every part that is accessible by 4x4 and some only by boat. During that time I've come across so many incredible spots that are rarely visited by people. This is one of them.

I camped out not too far from this place in a natural clearing I found while hiking. I was hoping to get to this spot nice and early to get the soft light to best present it, I was thrilled to get the cloud reflections in the naturally dark water's reflection. The water is dark from the tannins of the surrounding trees that seep into the water flow.
