unPOP! is made from bits of Eduardo Paolozzi’s series of collages, made between 1947 and 1952, called Bunk! Containing cuttings from comics and magazines featuring cartoon characters, film stars, adverts, logos and burlesque pin-ups, these collages were instrumental in the creation of the cultural identity of the pop art movement.
