Ten visions of light, matter, and engineered perception

Color is a structural event. STRUCTURAL COLOR begins with a deceptively simple question: what if color were not a coating, but an event produced by the architecture of matter? Across ten distinct digital sculptures, the collection interprets optical interference, scattering, resonant coupling, engineered wavefronts, porous media, and photonic fibers. Each artwork is conceived as an independent material universe. Some structures fracture, some weave, others fluctuate or dissolve into cavities. The works do not attempt to reproduce laboratory specimens; they turn scientific principles into speculative sculptural languages. Against absolute black, chromatic intensity becomes a way of revealing invisible interactions. The collection celebrates the space between scientific curiosity and artistic freedom: a place where light is both subject and medium.

I DON'T PAINT THE COLOR

I imagine the structure that makes color possible. I work where matter becomes an optical proposition, where a surface is no longer passive and geometry is no longer merely decorative. I am drawn to systems that appear impossible yet echo real questions from physics and material science. I refuse a single visual formula. Each work must earn its own silhouette, texture, optical mechanism, and chromatic identity. Repetition is not a signature; discovery is. These images are not measurements, microscope records, or validated simulations. They are artistic hypotheses—objects from a world in which the invisible behavior of light becomes visible form. STRUCTURAL COLOR is my invitation to look beyond pigment and imagine color as an architecture of possibility.
