BUST PROJECT is a collaborative portrait series made by 69 artists at FarCon Rome 2026, a gathering of the Farcaster community.

We handed out paper templates and felt pens, and attendees each drew a single trait: hair, eyes, ears, nose, mouth or neckwear. The 111 drawings that came back were all over the place. Some are done in chalk, some are 3D rendered, some are built from stickers, and some were stitched into the paper.

Every trait was scanned, cut out and stored fully onchain on Base. Each mint puts together a random bust from that archive, and there are over 44 million possible combinations. Every bust credits the people whose drawings it uses.

It's a snapshot of one community at one moment: 69 people, one sheet of paper each, and whatever they felt like drawing that day.
