Refrain
The ambitions of the day Slide away Slide away
The ambitions of the day Slide away
Turpentine and clay In empty larders lay
The ambitions of the day Slide away
Upon a time they’d say We end our broadcast day
The failures of the day Slid away Slid away
Pity you’ll never know The warmth of static’s glow They used to call it snow But it sounded like rain
Now broadcasts never end And I have lost that friend On whom I could depend To commend sleep’s refrain
Unbordered night and day In hazy lines I lay The ambitions of the day Slide away Slide away
Scroll and scroll and trend Broadcasts never end On whom can I depend On whom can I depend
Slide away

I draw. I paint. I write poems. I try to spread positivity, love and happiness through my creations. I believe in the Earthlings - we are more good than evil. If you need proof, have a hug or a homemade chocolate chip cookie. If we can share those, then there is hope for us yet.
