I wanted to keep the spirit and emotion alive in the audience but also to have a strong sense of drama. It was a good feeling to keep trying to capture both a real and fictional character. There was a lot to write about, from the story lines at the end, to the characters' moods and mood of the story, to the atmosphere of the time, to the story's social and political aspects, to the story's political themes. And of course I was trying to capture that spirit and emotion in the story, but not in the audience at the same time. I think that the problem with anime is that in our culture, we are talking about a lot of the same things. For example in the case of Naruto, there is a lot of talk about the 'bigger picture. There is a lot of dialogue, there are scenes where a character talks about things that look very different, but we are talking about the big picture here. We are not talking about scenes between a 'new' character and a 'new' character. In fact, we are talking about the 'big picture' that is important" ...
