In pursuit cleaner East African water, air, human and environmental health, Mamawatoto Eco School in Machakos Kenya continues to , photograph & map public dumping and burn sites, grow a tree & garden nursery, provide satellite composts at churches and schools, and develop programs to support this infrastructure.
Crypto based DAO ( Digital Autonomous Organization) is now selling NFTs to help fund the development of a secure, transparent, and fair system designed to empower the informal waste management sector. By tokenizing the means of production, a stronger local economy can grow based on shared ownership of higher value production systems. Systems we wish to see produced locally include "plastic chipping machine", "sand and activated charcoal water filter", "clay efficient cookstoves", "upycycled components for solar electricity", "auger for turning & aerating compost windrow mounds", "plastic to fuel distillation and condenser system", and "bicycle repair and transit".
