A few days ago I was Innerspace Gallery in DTLA. Earlier in the day I had eaten a bunch of mushrooms and MDA. JesusHands was gluing pounds of Cannabis flower onto a wooden slab for a promotion for the Gentlemen while crews of film makers were documenting the process with tons of cameras. Don Raph and Calen Blake were both making art nearby. I proceeded to make the back of this jacket - called "0 Day Obsession". I used a variety of mixed media - paper, stickers, tapes, etc. I no longer have the flagged-out fanny pack nor the jacket. Both were gifted last night - the fanny pack to an art collector - and the jacket to a homeless man at 3am who was cold and needed some warmth. This piece is an ode to hacking, life hacking, art hacking, crypto, doing the right thing & all the things that make life so beautiful.
