After my "Earlier Mona Lisa" and my "Salvator Mundi", here is my "Annunciation" also based on Leonardo's work.
My style involves replicating the original painting thousands of times, with almost as many variations, forming a microcosm which I try to keep in harmony with the macrocosm of the transfigured artwork.
After hundreds of iterations in which I use only the original artwork and nothing else, as it was paint or pixels, I get to a new artwork that is substantially different from the original and that I recognize as my own.
That's my "transmutation" technique applied to art history. I see it as an alchemical process, which often keeps me busy for days.
