Why seedruler?

To protect your assets and your private keys you will need to backup your seed composed out of 12, 18 or 24 words.

It will be enough to memorise just the first 4 letters of each word of your seed*.

The seedruler will help you to transform these first 4 letters of each word of your seed into 4 dots.

How to prepare your seedruler.

1. print the Nft on a strong A4 paper like 200g e.g. or on an A4 transparency film / canvas paper.

2. cut out all the small boxes with a simple leather hole punch tool or a hole punch iron and a hammer (hole size 2mm) or if you don’t have any of these follow precisely the lines with a scalpel cutter, a thin 6 inch/15cm stainless steel ruler, will help

3. cut out the entire seedruler with your scalpel cutter and the thin 6 inch/15cm stainless steel ruler or with scissors, in following the extern lines

4. if you choose the Seedruler random. keep more than one copy, or just keep safe the secret letters order you created and print/rebuild your seedruler at any time you need your seed back.

If you are ready to save your first seed with your prepared seedruler, its now time to find the right place (e.g. small plate, wall, door, furniture...) and use proper material (e.g. gold, silver, steel, wood, textile, paper…)

If you use the full seedruler you will need for 12words a surface of Width:130mm x Height:140mm

If you cut out one of the right or left side column because you need it compact you will have more flexibility and need less space. For e.g. a surface of Width:110mm x Height:140mm or Width:35mm x Height:400mm would be enough for 12words.
