All my life I loved creating, looking at what's around me in a new way, and capturing beyond the usual. Infrared photography opened so many doors to my creativity. I never thought I would enjoy so much this new technique, but here it is, a few months after getting my first filter, I just can't get enough of it!

The idea behind this work was to create something truly unique with an infrared slow-motion timelapse to illustrate the collection. All the 100 shots used have been taken using a 720 nm filter, on a full spectrum Canon 5D MKII, and edited one by one to make sure the final will look as I pictured it.

This is the official piece of my collection "1R 7R335 - The Otherworld". It has been used on the poster presenting my collection and is available, as an edition of 10, two weeks before the release of the collection.

Hi, my name is Jonas, a photographer from Switzerland. My goal is to promote my local area using my passion for landscapes and abstract photography. All of my work is done within a 3 hours drive radius of my hometown.

On the 1st of March 2022, I started to learn infrared photography. For 2 months, I went out shooting or editing every day, spending hours working on this new skill and developing my eyes to see what's around me in a new way. Naturally, the idea of a collection came quickly as soon as I was happy about the results I was getting.

"1R 7R335 - The Otherworld" was born. As I see infrared as a new way of looking through my lens, I wanted to find something similar for everyone looking at my collection. The title, written in a light version of Leet Speak, is a way of reflecting that aspect for everyone looking at my infrared work.
