Using the raised salt technique Olivia first sketched in pencil the outline of the Christmas Tree with the tinsel and baubles. She then used glue over the pencil outline, then covered the sheet in salt. The excess salt was brushed off. Water colours were then used to colour in the salt lines on the piece.
