This 35mm photograph was most likely shot in the late summer of 2002, when I was living in the lower east side of New York City. I was lucky enough to be working in the camera department in the independent film industry. on my time off I would often go out photographing. This night I was with a dear life long friend, and his girlfriend, who is in the photo. It's one of my favorites, I like the contrast, how it captures the stillness, and motion, and with a quality of light which is only achievable at night. Shot on a Pentax Spotmatic, handheld, long exposure, with an old fisheye lens.
