Chapoteo - Splash This collection is capturing my journey and progression into this genre. A couple of drops of water mixed with milk gently clashing and dancing it out together amongst some beautiful soft gels and background of silk fabrics.
Edition size 1/1
After Covid I was determined to adapt & evolve. I came across water drops & I was mesmerised by them.
I had a macro lens & some tools to start off with so I gave it a go & I was fascinated with the beauty I saw in front of me.
At first I was seeing little characters and imagining personalities..
Then I purchased a drip kit and I saw mushrooms, trees, men in hats & beautiful feminine dancing figures.
With gels on my lights & silk fabrics on the background card I forged ahead. This cracked me up because it is what I would do when working with my clients. I was literally using the tools within my studio to elevate the outcome.
I hope you agree the colours or this collection are cohesive and easy on the eye. I was going for feminine, calming and a bit ethereal.
It's hard to believe that they are such tiny little splashes.
Enjoy my first Dancing Liquid Collection, I hope it resonates with you and potentially sits well within your collection.
