Thursday February 6, 1986. We were instructed to set up our cameras facing the mountain range. After 7 hours of waiting in the cold, we had just about had it. Then, the voice on the other end of the short wave radio crackled in and instructed us to start filming. If I had not seen it with my own eyes, I would not have believed it.
