金魚には様々な意味があります。

金魚はもともとフナの突然変異で 産まれたとされていますが 人為的に交配を行い、観賞用として 改良されてきた歴史があり 金魚は不自由であると言う見方もあります

そのことから 私たち人間も 環境や時代、お金や感情 に左右され 誰しも何かの奴隷で それは、お金や愛、地位や名誉だったり 誰しもどこかで不自由さを 抱えて生きている と言う様を 私は金魚を通して表現しています。

そして 金魚はとても 縁起のいい魚です 風水発祥の中国では 金魚は ・幸せを呼ぶ魚 ・災難を防ぐ ・何事も円滑に運ぶ など様々な意味があります 他にも 金運や幸運、浄化、魔除け などとてもポジティブな意味が多くあり 自分自身の幸運を願っているはもちろん 私の絵を見てくれた方々にも 幸運が訪れますようにと願って 私は金魚を描いています。

他にも ストーリー的には 感情や愛する者の具現化として 表現しています。

最後に金魚のデザイン性と色合い また、誰にでもわかる馴染みのある魚だから と言うのも大きな理由です。

この4つを主だった理由に 現在の作風になってからは 欠かさず金魚を描いています。
