Blending the infinite digital and spiritual worlds, “Ascension Chamber” is the first in the FRACTAL LEGACY series of video art releases featuring stunning 3D fractal animation by Michael Strauss.
Originally created for Michael's live VJ performances between 2012-2022, these pieces represent the best of a decade of work.
Featured on the main stages of music festivals across the world and in the performances of countless legendary electronic music artists, including Shpongle, OTT, Crystal Method, DJ Z-Trip, Infected Mushroom, Pendulum, Photek, Skream, Reggie Watts, Desert Dwellers, Kalya Scintilla, Polish Ambassador, David Starfire, Russ Liquid, Porangui, Lucent Dossier, Phutureprimitive, Charlesthefirst, Random Rab, Kraddy, Emancipator, Soohan, Bluetech, Kaminanda, Govinda, Dirtwire, and hundreds more.
The continuously evolving style is both organic and geometric, with an effect that is both meditative and dynamic. This selection features a custom 432hz-tuned soundscape from meditative sound designer Torkom Ji, producing a hypnotic and consciousness expanding experience.

Michael Strauss is a veteran VJ and event producer from Los Angeles, crafting psychedelic environments and visual projections for over 15 years. Michael's stunning visuals and projection mapping have enhanced live performances from the greats of psychedelic music including Shpongle, Ott, Kalya Scintilla, Desert Dwellers, Lucent Dossier Experience, and countless others.
His work is often seen on the main stages of major festivals such as Lightning in a Bottle, Sonic Bloom, Symbiosis, Electric Daisy Carnival, and Nocturnal Wonderland – as well as unique venues such as Wisdome (LA), Onedome (SF), Area 15 (Las Vegas) and Alex Grey's Chapel of Sacred Mirrors.
As founder of the Visual Reality collective, Michael continues to explore new forms of expression – now expanding into VR/AR and 360 dome projections. Michael is the true embodiment of a modern-day wizard, using technology and creativity to transform reality. His work is designed to open hearts, lift spirits, and blow minds.
