"The idea of my piece is that the woman is leaving behind the taboo of the nipple, and freely, she is letting everyone see it, without a sense of shame. She loves her body as it is, and proudly, she no longer feels the need to hide. This realisation has opened up her mind, letting her evolve as a person, thus, moving towards infinity, towards the light."
The ‘Free the Nipple’ collection is comprised of individual artworks by 35 women artists and members of the NFT Goddesses group.
‘Free the Nipple’ is more than a project, it is a movement. A movement to empower women all over the world. To free women worldwide. For we do not need to be ashamed of our bodies. For we should not feel the need to hide our bodies. As our voices join in unison, we scream for the opportunity to be equal and not censored. And this is what this project is about: Freedom to be ourselves.
Being October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we wanted to support those who are affected by this. Thus, 10% of every artwork sold will be donated to Breast Cancer Support - https://breastcancersupport.org.uk/
