Shot October 9, 2016 from my neighborhood in Llano Quemado (Ranchos de Taos), New Mexico. Altitude at this point approximately 7,045 feet. Mountains on the horizon are mainly extinct volcanoes. Not visible in the valley in shadow is the Rio Grande gorge. 4288 x 2848, 300 ppi.

New Mexico belongs to God and we just pass on through. As I once wrote, "The thing was though, they'd done it, the entire Taos murder trip, yet both of them were still together, healthy, and the love danced in her eyes." Kathy & I moved from Maryland to Taos County in 1999. The landing was a shock but we gave it all we had. New Mexico is never easy but stupendous. The story's in the photographs & their descriptions.
