Art work based on photograph taken in my solo exhibition "未知への追憶" (Reminiscence of the Unknown). This 100 million pixels NFT was platinum printed into physical piece with QR contract address. Platinum printed is said to last 500 years. Herein lies the question of existence. In the future, which will remain longer, the material print or the NFT of digital data? Isn't the difference between digital data and material existence "SEHNSUCHT NACH MASSE" (a longing for mass)?
In this collection, he prints his digital art on physical platinum prints. It is said that a photographic work printed onto a platinum print generally lasts more than 500 years. The printed work will be labelled with the NFT contract address of the digital art. While real works have editions and platinum prints exist in multiple material forms, there is only one NFT digital master plate. By scanning the contract address, anyone can access the NFT of the digital master plate. Physical platinum-printed works with a long lifespan will be displayed in exhibitions and installed in their owners' homes during the distribution process.
