The Art of RAR or Reflection and Refraction, is a photopainting technique to capture a moment when light passes through the medium of water and is captured by a camera. The image is then processed using LightRoom software to bring out the colours and intricacies created by Mother Nature. This is a new technique in photopainting, capturing an image that is not visible to the naked eyes and needed a tedious process of 'polishing' to reveal its beauty as a piece of art. In a way it is priceless as Mother Nature is the painter.

Man has for centuries painted the Tree of Life based on their own interpretation, imagination or inspiration. This is the first time the image of the Tree of Life was revealed by Mother Nature as it is, painted by Nature with many human forms, portraits or full body, and in different perspectives or activities. When it first mysteriously appeared, I intuitively knew that it was the Tree of Life.
