BLUE from Kieslowski's color trilogy, just like the other films in the series, takes its name from the blue in the French flag and represents Liberty. In the film, Krzysztof Kieslowski describes the concept of liberty, grief, and the bounding effects of memories. it is about a woman whose husband and child are killed in a car accident. Suddenly set free from her familial bonds, she attempts to cut herself off from everything and live in isolation from her former ties but finds that she can't free herself from human connections. On the other hand, I would like to describe a character from this movie with an NFT I just created. this piece is mainly symbolizing liberty, and freedom on the other hand depression but also tranquility & serenity with no boundaries. Infinity, energy, and being one are the topics that I am working on mostly.

Gokhan Gokcay creates art representing snapshots of his memories. Born in Istanbul, and living in Paris. He is a photographer from Paris, France who does a variety of photography projects focusing on bnw, shadows, silhouettes, and portraits. In his photos, most of the people’s faces are hidden from view. it is almost as if the shadow has removed the subject’s identities while imbuing them with a universal identity, where each person represents us, the viewers. The main ideas he studies around are solitude and the psychological, philosophical, and spiritual human condition.

Three Colors Trilogy Editions-Artist Collaboration collection image

This is a tribute to Krzysztof Kieślowski's Three Colors Trilogy movies. This collaboration was realized by Serkan Colak, Sinan Kilic, and Gokhan Gokcay. This Collection consists of three photos representing each movie and emotion. Three Colors Trilogy has been directed by Krzysztof Kieślowski, consisting of Blue, White and Red respectively. The three colors that make up the titles of the films represent the colors of the French flag. The themes of freedom, equality, and fraternity embodied by the French Revolution were handled as the main themes of the films. While questioning interpersonal communication throughout the trilogy, Kieślovsk searches for reflections of universal themes in bilateral human relations. In this edition, which we created inspired by the trilogy, each photographer describes a movie and a character from that movie with their work.
