Made with watercolor, pen, ink, and Adobe Photoshop. The final product is digital since all pieces are composed independently and arranged, edited, and embellished digitally.
This is the first NFT of this series and the only final production of this digital artwork. Prints of this piece have been showcased and exhibited in Manhattan and Brooklyn, NY. This is part of a larger series of work entitled "Handwritten Reveries", which consists of visual poetry art and will be published in an upcoming lyrical poetry prose book compilation featuring visual arts and songs accompanied by stylistic writing - entirely handwritten, painted and drawn.
Created by artist b.faye, who also goes professionally by Breanna Faye; a technology leader, trained architect, artist, tango dancer, and avid part of the blockchain community.
A physical print, up to size 12" x 12", will be shipped to the winner upon request. Will be signed, stamped and dated by artist.
Unlockable content includes custom created font by artist in the style of her uniquely expressive typography. This NFT grants rights for the owner to use the font for personal and commercial purposes, but not to resell the font itself.
Handwritten Reveries is a multi-sensory and multimedia book and art series, entirely handwritten and self-illustrated, composed of poems, prose, songs, and digitally composed watercolor paintings.
Handwritten Reveries is a linear journey that tells a personal story - yet everyone’s story - about relationships in their rawest and softest times. It celebrates the often quizzical inconsistencies and the temporal nature of love, taking readers through a process of loneliness and vulnerability, heartache and healing, pain and perseverance.
Part poetry book, part music album captured in a handwritten manuscript - a synesthetic reading experience, with words that capture the heart, illustrations that give a face to the feelings and characters, and songs that transport you to a new yet familiar world, allowing you to carry the words with you - even when you put the book down.
