Mankind is always looking for something new. New experiences, new perspectives. We love the journey into unknown territories just for the fun of discovering. We expand and learn with each little new piece of information, enriching our repertoires as we diversify and grow the number of possible combinations from different information and perspectives.

The final deep dive is a path to self-awareness, the unknown lands of the inner world. This is where we can truly connect to our emotions and our intuition. I feel that the connection with our inner world is what create a deeper state of freedom within us.

It is a theme that speaks strongly to myself, as a person and as an artist, because I love to go deep at what I am doing, especially if I am learning something new. My art is inspired by my own deep dive in my inner world, as a way to share my finds and bring new perspectives to this universe.

The water and ocean is also very present in the piece, they can represent our inner emotions and make us wonder how deep can we go in these waters. I currently live and spent a lot of my life living close to the ocean, it inspires me some strange fascination! If you look at the piece with attention you will find the ocean, the swimming fish and school of fish.

This collage of photos and videos reflect this exploration of the unexplored, turning potential “failures” in great discovery, because it was initially considered by myself a failed artwork, but then brought to life to entirely new opportunities. The collage medium itself evoke a mix of perspectives and lenses to create new landscapes that was never possible before.
