The Miner is responsible for two things: verifying your crypto transactions and mining new cryptocurrencies. He achieves that by using his computer to guesswork a 64-digit hexadecimal number called a hash. He earns crypto only when he is first to solve this complex number. Because more and more people are getting into the mining business, he constantly needs to upgrade his computer with multiple high hash rate processing units (the one found in most modern graphics cards). Since he is responsible for the shortage of graphics cards, he earned the nickname scalper and a lot of hate in the gaming community.

Due to his computers producing a ton of heat and utilizing a lot of power, the miner lives in a place where the temperature is cold, and electricity is cheap. Even though he has no central authority, he has already moved a couple of times and has been banned from many dwellings.

In some ways, the Miner is the “banker” of the cryptocurrency world as he verifies the legitimacy of every crypto transaction to prevent any possible “double-spending problems''. With no centralized authority or supervision, it is up to him to choose which transactions he will prioritize, but you can always cut the proverbial line by tipping him with some extra coins.
