Tuppence the inspiration: If I ever owned a boat I would name it Tuppence. Picture the Irish fisherman leaving the bay on a cold misty morning. He is the only one on the water. So still, no breeze, the water as flat as glass & you can just hear his boat putt putt away. I wrote this piece in Ireland, so inspired by the culture, the musicianship I found there & the people I met will stay with me forever.
