Medium: Stone, fiber, palm raffia
Dimensions: H. 20.75
Origin: Balam Village, Dani Tribe, Asmat, Western Highlands, West Irian Jaya Je stone of long and slender form with attached palm raffia skirt with fibre encircling just above center. Je stones played a dual roll as brides wealth at weddings and grave markers for funerals.
